It is with great pleasure that we share the fact that BARBARA MING, ImpactCEE honorary member, who helps with all the legal work of the association and is a keen and enthusiastic member, has become a WomenINvestEU member.
WomenINvestEU is significantly strengthening the capacity of the gender focused investment ecosystem across Europe. The project is building a European Network of Gender-Conscious Investors to facilitate knowledge sharing, mutual support and direct investment and co-investment between key players from across the European investment supply chain.
The network will recruit women and gender diverse investors from across Europe and from different parts of the finance supply chain, as well as key players from wider gender focused organisations. The goal is to provide opportunities for members to forge connections and engage each other through networking events, create new pathways for women to enter the sector and become decision-makers and establish a Code of Good Practice for gender-conscious investing.
Throughout the project, WomenINvestEU will also aim to educate and raise awareness on the benefits of gender focused investment, engaging key players from across Europe in the effort to address inequality, while recruiting and empowering more women to pursue a career in finance. Female founders will be able to connect with gender-conscious investors through matchmaking and pitching events, as well as access materials and mentorship opportunities to help them break into the financial sector.
