Dr. Renáta Szakacsits is the Managing Director of Szakacsits Ventures, a family office founded by Szabolcs Szakacsits, CEO of Tuxera and a recognized leader in the technology sector. The firm invests in early-stage startups in Hungary and internationally, with a portfolio of more than 30 companies. It also plays an active philanthropic role, supporting over 100 foundations each year. 

Renáta began her career at multinational corporations, where she gained valuable experience in international business environments. A qualified lawyer with multiple degrees, including a specialization in healthcare law, she completed part of her studies in the Netherlands, which helped shape her global perspective. In addition to her investment role, she supports startups with legal and strategic guidance at critical stages of their development.  

Renáta is also a columnist for Growth Women business magazine. 

Passionate about animal welfare and travel, she was nominated for HUNBAN’s Ecosystem Builder of the Year Award, which she received in 2025.
